This scale open all seasons, every day, all holidays not think they will close no THE ARE OPEN 24/7 usaly south side easy to past evening time
for alter route you can use exit 152 (if you coming from south to north)take right go about 0.5 mile turn left at US-1N drive about 4 mile then turn left at Dale city Blvd go 0.4 mile then turn rigth at I-95 N remain. they don't have portable scale at this route because this is very bussy route, so very hard to findeven parking for trucks

The alternate route does not always work. There is a portable scale station that DOT likes to setup about a half mile north of the Rt.234 Rt.1 intersection. The like it so much, they have their own night lights and phones on light poles to call in reinforcements.
